Bio

Alessandro Raveggi is a Research Fellow in Comparative Literature at the Department of Linguistics and Comparative Cultural Studies, Università Ca’ Foscari, Venice. He published essays and articles on Italo Calvino, David Foster Wallace, Roberto Bolaño, Raymond Federman, literary postmodernism, reader-response theory and travel literature. His forthcoming essay “Il Romanzo di Babele. La svolta multilingue della letteratura” (Marsilio, 2023) will define the genre of the “multilingual novel” comparing European, Latin-American and Accented American cases, from modernism to postmodernism, until contemporary authors
